This place is a great, clean place to stay with incredibly friendly staff, an excellent location just 2 km from Baldwin Street, and a very clean restaurant for meals.

We were in Dunedin for 3 days, had good stay, the hotel was fairly clean with favourable and fab location to the world famous Botanic garden. Booked a room with bathtub.

Loved how great relaxing the property was and its AMICABLE staff from the Maintenance guys to the Manager. The hotel's location was handy, just next door to the beautiful garden. We found nice The Good Earth Cafe nearby with hot beverages.
Breakfast was cold, can be far better.

Got good-sized and well-maintained family room on level 2 when arrived, loved that. The breakfast was enjoyable with fruit, yoghurt, and also the staff were all amiable. The place had a family atmosphere.

The room here was fantastic with convenient carpark access, a luxurious bath, and a beautifully landscaped garden, all in a prime location close to the Botanic Gardens.

The hotel was easy to find and in a great location by the Botanical Gardens. It had a lovely outlook onto a lawn area and there was no road noise. It was a short walk away from the shopping centre and 5 minutes into the city by car. The rooms were a good size and very comfortable and clean.
Our room was at the end by the conference room and was noisey for a time when there were tour buses in. We were also woken up by cleaning staff after midnight on one occasion. Next time I would check on the location of our room.

I really enjoyed staying here, the place was quite clean, the staff, especially the Manager, were incredibly friendly, and it was great to have a restaurant on-site in a convenient central location.

The bed was the most comfortable one that we had slept on during our holiday.
There are not any lifts to get to the upstairs rooms which was a major hassle when we had been travelling all day and the last thing I wanted to do was lug my bag up stairs

It was convenient
The "free" internet was a joke. The 30mins or 8mb free use lasted for 2 minutes and was enough to collect emails only. There was not enough time to reply to any of the emails. Internet access was available in the lobby only, not in our room. The mini bar contained an item of 2 chocolate bars at a price of $4. The receptionist insisted the form meant $4 EACH however the form did not say it was the price each. We believed (and still believe the form offered 2 bars for a TOTAL price of $4. There was no way the receptionist was going to understand the ambiguity on the form and insisted the cost of 2 bars was $8. We believe this was very poor public relations and feel she should have recognised that the wording on the form was bad. She should certainly not have have insisted that we were wrong in our reading of the form.
